Broker / Consulting Services
- Develop Written One, Two and Three-Year Employee Benefits Strategy.
- Review Employee Benefit Plan Designs and Make Specific Recommendations.
- Develop Compliance-based Benefits to Enhance Health Risk Management (HRM) Opportunities and Outcomes.
- Review and Analyze Financial Performance of the Benefit Plan.
- Evaluate Current Medical Management Program(s) and Recommend Alternatives.
- Analyze Plan Funding and Risk Transfer Strategy (e.g. Stop-loss Insurance, Transplant Carve-outs, etc.)
- Analyze and Negotiate All Non-pension Plan Renewals.
- Author and Conduct Request for Proposal (RFP) Process (Annual Plan Marketing and Analysis) of Health Plan and Ancillary Lines including GeoAccess Studies and Disruption Analysis as Appropriate.
- Review and Negotiate Carrier/Third-party Administrator (TPA), Stop-loss, Medical Management, PPO and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) Contracts.
- Analyze Employee Cost-sharing and Develop Contribution Strategy.
- Calculate COBRA Rates.
- Provide Implementation Support, including:
- Plan Open Enrollment,
- Develop Open Enrollment Materials/Forms (including Consolidated Enrollment Form),
- Conduct Employee Enrollment Meetings,
- Interface with and Integrate all Plan Vendors/Carriers, and
- Review and Process Contracts/Agreements.
- Perform Day-to-day Account Management Service/Support, Employee Communications and Problem Resolution.
- Support Client Human Resources Initiatives.
- Provide Legislative Updates and Compliance Support.
- Provide Benefits Management Support via Monthly and/or Quarterly Meetings.
- Provide and/or Deliver Monthly Claims Experience and Enrollment Reports with Narratives and Trend Analysis.
- Develop Customized Employee Benefit Guide and Manage the Graphic Arts and Production Process.
- Provide Coordination and Support for Tax Form 5500 Preparation and Filing.
